This is (made by an educated guess) the original recording of Tip-Toe Thru the Tulips performed by "The Crooning Troubadour" Nick Lucas, written by Joe Burk, lyrics by Al Dubin, from the motion picture, "Gold Diggers & Broadway" Circa 1929.
Of course, when everyone thinks of this song, Tiny Tim comes to mind. A lot of people simply assume he's the one who wrote it, including my music history academic father. I love Tiny Tim, God rest his towering soul, but I like this version much better.
That 78 has a great sound. My Dad has a stack of them and plays them all the time.

I started collecting 78's a little while back. With old jazz, there isn't any better way to listen to it than on a 78.
