amp is sending 800 rms to each sub so total is 400 rms each they can handle more and when i fix my car ill be getting a pdx 1:1000 for these and a bigger box or custom setup and a capacitor

@SURVIEW1 just checked alpines site, they are 500 rms, dont know where i got 650 from :S you like kicker eh? check out my vid, its a friend of mines car, crankin 2 l7's i just got a type x 12" 1000 rms :D

@milko511 I'm more familar with Kicker than Alpine. But I actually thought 12" Alpine Type R's we're 500RMS and 1000 PEAK? But when you add a good box, wires, and a nice matching amp, I bet you"ll get another 100 or so watts.

idk why but i'm actually a big fan of sealed boxes. keeps the pressure on the sub, lets you give it more power. i had 2 kicker l7 15s in a sealed box and it honestly wasn't as loud when i got a big ported one for em.
