@xwawas If the t-72 had all the upgrades you talk about it would be a T-90. T-72 was a good tank in its day, Russians always build dangerous tanks. But today it is just outclassed by more modern western tank models. No shame in that, its just the natural way of things. So don't compare T-72 to the M1a1/2/3 Abrams. Compare it to M60 MBT, Leopard 1 or Centurion models.

@LomarkII plus the t55 and t72 in iraq had no electrical computers on their tanks, they were manually controlled. The abrams had computer engineering on them with targeting systems and etc. the fact that manual tanks at least got a few if not a handful of abrams using manual techniques proves the t72/55 reputation. If however the T55 and t 72s were upgrades to protect its side tracks and a fully intergrated electronics, The russian tanks are equally superior
