I think some of you all are taking the whole Chipmunks thing way too seriously! LOL. They're cartoons! Anyhoo, I loved this special as a kid and the Christmas rap was cool :) Btw, the 90s were actually a GREAT decade for music...or shall I say, a "dope" decade for music ;)

Hahaha man it is hilarious how people freak about the Chipmunks being "ruined" by going hip hop and pop in the recent movies, but they've been moving with the times and adapting with the changes in music since the beginning. This is clear proof! It's how they've stayed alive so long.
Only thing is, changing their shirts and Alvin's iconic cap to hoodies? That's going too far.
