Nothing Else Matters ~ Ch. 52 "It wasn't my fault." [Marathon]

I kinda figured out what story I'm doing after this but I'm still trying to figure it out. I hope you like the idea and the story. And it's the one I sent you, ButterflyxDream. The first one.

(Rebecca's POV)
I was lying on my bed, reading my textbook. I was getting kind of tired and yawned. Suddenly, the lights went out, making me gasp. The only light came through the window shutters. "I know I have a flashlight somewhere," I said to myself. I started looking around blindly. Where was that thing?

I heard tapping on the window. I turned to see a black figure in the shape of a man outside of it. My eyes widened as he slid the window open. I walked backwards until I tripped on something and fell back. I let out a small scream as I did and the man ran towards me. I was so scared I couldn't move.

The man sat next to me and wrapped his arms around me. He held me close with my hands on his chest. I tried to see his face but the light was shining my way and his face remained a mystery. He lifted a hand and I started to scream but he clamped it over my mouth. "Shh."

I stared at him. What was going on? He moved his hand to the side of my face. "God, you're so beautiful," he said. He had a deep voice, one I had heard before but couldn't figure out.
"Who are you?"
He moved his hand back to my mouth. "Shh. No need to speak. Use those lips for something else." He leaned forward and I felt his cracked lips press against mine. I gasped and he took the kiss farther. I pushed against his chest but he was too strong for me to move him even an inch.

This was nothing like Kevin's kisses. His were gentle, sweet, and loving but this guy was rough, uncaring. I struggled against him but nothing worked. He only kissed me with more intensity. Soon, he pulled away, leaving me breathing heavily. Then, he said something totally unexpected. "I love you."

What the fudgers? He had just kissed me and suddenly he loved me?! This guy was psycho. Then, his phone rang. He kept me in his hold with one arm and answered it with his free one. "Hello?... Alright, I'm bringing her with me." I gasped. He started lifting me up but stopped.

"What do you mean not yet?... Fine. Bye." He hung up and looked back at me. "Until we meet again my love." He kissed me again and I felt a small poke in my arm. There was a hiss and he pulled away. I felt dizzy and I started losing consciousness as I faintly heard him say "Goodnight, Rebecca." I hit the floor and passed out.

(Kevin's POV)
I finally got to Rebecca's dorm and started knocking on it. "Rebecca? Open up." I waited but nothing happened. I knocked again but there was still no answer. I was getting incredibly worried. Was she okay? Why wouldn't she open the door? I was getting extremely nervous. I put my hand on the doorknob and turned it. To my surprise, it opened.

I felt kinda stupid for not trying that first. I opened the door and gasped at the sight before me. Rebecca was on the floor, unconscious. I closed the door and ran to her side. Maybe she was sleeping. I shook her to wake her up but my efforts were futile. Was she hurt? I looked her over but she seemed fine.

What could be wrong? I lifted her into my arms and carried her over to her bed. I gently laid Rebecca down and sat next to her. She looked like Sleeping Beauty... only better. The moment was too perfect and I leaned over and placed a soft kiss on her lips. As if on cue, Rebecca's eyelids fluttered open.

"Rebecca, are you alright?"
She stared at me with a sad look. She sat up and hugged me tightly. "I'm so sorry, Kevin. I didn't mean to."
"Didn't mean to what? What are you talking about?" I pulled away to see Rebecca crying. I caught a tear with my thumb. "Baby, talk to me."
She started sobbing and she buried her face in my chest. "I'm sorry, Kev. I'm really sorry." She continued to cry and I comforted her in total confusion. Why was she sorry?
"Rebecca, what happened?"
She shook her head. "I'm sorry. It wasn't my fault." She looked up and I grabbed her hands. We stared at each other for a while before she asked, "Can we go visit Xander?"
"But I already did."
"Please? For me?"
"Alright. Let's go."
She sniffed. "Let me just wash up."
"Take as long as you want," I told her.

She kissed me on the cheek and stood up. Rebecca walked into the bathroom and shut the door. I was left to wonder about what happened. So many things were a mystery but I knew Rebecca would tell me when she's ready. She came out and I smiled. I walked over and grabbed her hand. "Come on."

this is a pretty awesome story. my friend katelyn told me about and she was like "it was so good! kevin was in college and he wasn't famous and this girl walked in on him and i really loved it, but i cant find it again!" and then i found it and told her and she was real excited. haha.
