WS is another disability requiring information to help children who have this disability. One of the misleading characteristics of a WS child is their communication and verbal skills are excellent, it tends to mask their disability. This program features Sandra Carter, B.S., Psychology, Special Education teacher who works daily with WS children and adults. She provides excellent information on the disability and explains how to work with children who may have this disability. Also featured are Lori, Dennis and Chris, three people with Williams Syndrome. Dr. Ruth Smith, University Researcher and Mental Retardation Expert provides additional information and experience about this illness and what teachers can do to help these youngsters with WS.
