ha! oh man, although i'm a bulls fan, i was a big fan of boom dizzle and those warriors. that series was the shit. that series is what made me really become a fan of theirs (too late, they disbanded). i had game 4 of that series on my dvr for months. that was insanely awesome basketball, and it sucks you're a mavs fan because you couldn't enjoy the greatness of that series.
people hate the spurs because they're boring, not because they whine (every team has whiners). i also don't like parker.
we hate the spurs. because for years they have been the biggest crybabies in the nba. floppers. whiners. we hate them. they didn't deserve four rings. maybe three but the year dallas lost to golden state, the mavs would've beaten anyone else in the league. the warriors were their weakness, but they would've beaten the spurs that year, but the spurs went on to win the championship
The Spurs are an aging team. They make the Celts look a really young team. it takes a toll on them to play back-to-back in a playoff series. And i think we're beginning to see that. They're still a very good team (and that's hard for me to admit because i don't like them). Portland's gonna be good in the years to come.
I agree with you. He obviously wasn't going to try and take him out by injuriing him. That's not basketball. He probably just meant that he was not gonna let Parker get in the lane so easily, and if he had to send a message by giving a hard foul. He exaggerated his comments because they lost and he was frustrated. But it looks like the Mavs have stolen the home court advantage. And i also hate the Spurs, always have. i'm not a big fan of the mavs either, but i'll take anyone over the Spurs.
lefty, how can you claim that? if he did that, he would get ejected, fined, suspended, and labeled a dirty player for the rest of his career. that's pretty far fetched the claim he's willing to do all that just to win a first round series, which they definitely would if he took out parker.
i hope dallas wins the series, as the majority of the country is sick of the spurs, including people here in chicago. i can't imagine what the other southwest teams' fans think of the spurs.
I only heard what the guy said

i enjoyed game five very much. but the mavs couldn't finish their comeback.
i hate the spurs because they are boring, but also because they are the biggest whiners in the nba.

Damp never fouled Parker in Game 3. But he did stuff one of Parker's weak layup attempts.

if they don't win the next game, they have no chance of winning the series, and the mavs annihilated them today.
