Parrot breeding is highly unnecessary when there are so many parrots in shelters.

Homeless parrots are even being turned away from these bird shelters because of lack of space.

Hopefully you will entertain the idea of turning your breeding aviairy into a bird sanctuary for disposed of parrots.

hi, i just got two pair of congos from my aunt in florida, they are proven and one pair the hen wont come out of the nest box, she only comes out to eat. How do i know if she is about to lay or not, they are in my garage and i havent move them to the new aviary because i dont know if this will disturb them.Plase let me know what are the sings. The male keeps feeding the hen on the edge of the box. Thanks for any adv.
