Myself and plenty of other Asians I know have been perfectly successful in combat arms. The reason is, we were willing to stand up for ourselves and throw fists if necessary and, more importantly, we demonstrated the highest levels of competence and professionalism. Respect isn't given, it's earned and it's earned every day. If you're a problem soldier, you're a problem soldier and you're gonna get treated like the shit you are regardless of your ethnicity.

Civilians have no right to tell us how to run our business. I'm Asian American and have served in the Cavalry for eight years. It's a hard world and a violent one, but then again, you figure that when you enlist in Combat Arms. You gotta be able to hold your own. People like Danny, with their general weakness, paint all Asians in the Army with a bad name. I don't want a softer, gentler experience. I love the anger, violence and general suck, that's why I've reenlisted twice.
