On March 20th, Benedict XVI will arrive at the 4 De Fevereiro International Airport in Luanda, the capital of Angola. Approximately 17 years ago, John Paul II did the same during the first and only papal visit to this immense and afflicted country of Southern Africa.On Sunday, March 22nd, the pontiff will celebrate Mass in Cimangola square, not far from Praia do Bispo -- the place where the former Communist regime had intended to create a sort of Angolan Red Square.
