France's strong tradition of illustrated and comic books is well known, but little is Gotlib. Yet, the French comics artist is the one who, in the 1970s, transformed the genre, with comics that were no longer destined for children but for adults. Nonsensical, cheeky and with a pinch of black humour, the 75-year-old artist has just published an unabridged version of his works.
