*UPDATE* OPD ADMITS TO USING LESS THAN LETHAL ROUNDS

"During the evening protest, a number of officers were assaulted, doused with hazardous materials and hit with large rocks and bottles, which resulted in the declaration of an unlawful assembly and the order to disperse. To assist in the dispersal efforts, officers used less lethal force tactics.

At approximately 10:00pm this evening, a group of approximately 300 protesters in the area of Frank Ogawa Plaza began throwing large rocks and bottles at officers after receiving the order to disperse, which again prompted the use of less than lethal munitions."

Q. Did the Police deploy rubber bullets, flash-bag grenades?
A. No, the loud noises that were heard originated from M-80 explosives thrown at
Police by protesters. In addition, Police fired approximately four bean bag rounds
at protesters to stop them from throwing dangerous objects at the officer

Quote from OPD in thier public brief to the city of oakland.

This is direct evidence of oakland police using flashbangs against protesters.

CLEARLY these people are trying to help a man that is on the ground hurt or something else.
This footage was shot originally by KTVU BELIEVE IT OR NOT! I recapped to see if I could iso the police that were throwing flashbangs.

  • как и везде

  • Frags should have been used...

  • i would of cs gassed them all haha

  • Not true. If one make a milion dollars in a year, they will pay more in taxes that year than you or I will ever pay in our ENTIRE LIVES. Eic & the child tax credits are ALREADY the largest wealth redistrabution programs, from rich to poor, that the world HAS EVER SEEN. Obama is using you as a campaign tool. Besides, occupy is not about economics I dont care how bad you or Obama wants it to be, it is not.

  • This isn't about lack of welfare buddy. It is about a fucked up tax code that allows billionaires to pay a lower overall tax burden than a struggling middle class family. Don't be such an asshole, I am sure you realize that a system that allows the top richest 400 individuals to control more wealth than the bottom 150 million americans combined is not sustainable!

  • The point of Occupy is not that they want jobs, they want fair taxation on the rich, and they want corporations to be treated as they are, a conglomerate business, as opposed to how they currently treat them, which is like an individual. They are tired of government personnel being paid excessive money, accepting "donations" without consequence, and ignoring the people for the money they get from the corporations.

On another note, this right here is how riots start. These officers are stupid.
