Thanks for your patience folks! I've been diligently working on a new reload instructional series in the garage. It's going to be another 4 part series most likely, reloading 91 rounds all at once, using an actual press, washing the brass, the works. So I haven't had the time to do much else, but now that the raw footage is done, I can go back to posting more range vids.

Here's the 2nd video at the Garland Public Shooting Range with the Yugo Mauser M24/47. This time, we compare 50 and 100 yards targets with my 8mm Mauser reloads. These have been sitting around for a while, some of which I can't remember when I actually reloaded...they don't have my meticulous notes on what I used, so they were probably some of my first reloads from the summer!

As you can see, in this M24/47, these reloads are outstanding, and they really shine in this here gun! Now, you might think that these should do better in the K98 Mauser, but that would the case IF Lee made a neck-resizing-only reloading kit, like they do for the more popular rounds like .303 British and 7.62x54R ammo. But the kit I got is a Pacesetter die set, which does a full case resizing when you ream it out...so the ammo isn't tailor-suited for just the K98, it'll perform the same in any 8mm Mauser gun.

Anyways, here are the load details:
Brass: Remington
Bullets: Sierra SP, 175 gr., .323 diameter
Primer: CCI Large Rifle
Powder: H414 Hodgdon, 49 gr. up to 50.9 at the end

Enjoy the vids, there's always more to come!

  • @JakeDubz262 Well..what would you like to know about the ammo, fuck-head? Maybe if you saw some of the other vids, like my WHOLE FUCKING 7 PART SERIES ON 8MM RELOADING, you'd know everything you needed to know about this here ammo. Now go find your fuck-buddy and have a nice cocksucking session with each other.

  • OH, I think I know why. Germany wanted Mexico to be on its side durring WWI, but then they didn't so I bet the Germans stopped supplying them.

  • @wcomedy Nah, most Mausers were made in Germany and just sold abroad back in the years before WW2

  • Haha I think Mexican Mausers are pretty hard to find because of some political reason. Mexico probably didn't want to be associated with Germany at the time, so they produced less of them. Just like it's really hard to find American made Remington Mosins. America didn't want to be seen as supporting the communist Russians. And as for Argentinians... I didn't even know Argentina MADE Mausers haha!

  • @wcomedy Yeah, it's a little easier than 8x57...actually 7x57 Mauser is VERY easy to find, Academy Sports even carries that over .303 or 8x57... but trying to find Mexican or Argentinian Mausers is f-ing difficult as hell...what's up with that?

  • Yeah, I can also find .303 ammo a lot easier. Thanks for the advice!

  • @wcomedy sure thing...personally, I'd get the Enfield first, but the they are about the same in regards to accuracy, quality, and ammo costs...but the Enfield can be reloaded with a cheap Lee Classic Loader kit, 8x57 Mauser requires a full-length press (see my current series I'm in the middle of posting). Good luck!

  • Nice, I'm on the market for a new rifle right now and I've narrowed it down to either an Enfield or a Mauser! Thanks for the info!

  • @wcomedy Nah, has a little less kick, more manageable for folks that think the Mosin or M-1 is too stout...you'll like it!
