99% throw away. if you're beginner, chose aluminium for mtb/xc/road bikes, unless you have too much money :D
the thing is that your first bike won't be your 'dreambike' so - why pay too much ?;)

Im new to bicycling and I'm considering a carbon frame. My question is, if the bike is wrecked or damaged do you have to throw the thing away of can it be repaired?
