  • wats ppa mean

  • @matiueveritt personal package archive

  • it tells me i need to exit the x-server.......how do i do this?

  • @tal32123 havent done in awhile but i believe is Alt+F2 type in 'sudo /etc/init.d/gdm stop' this will drop you to a terminal, also make sure to allow ur driver to execute ' chmod +x nvidia.bin' then to run it 'sudo sh nvidia.run'

  • @gotbletu can you please make a new video on how to do it fully (I heard that there are new nvidia drivers out). or if you already have them installed more new ones are supposed to come out also.

  • @tal32123 they got a PPA for easy install, tho it only up to lucid 10.04 support right now. ill post a link in the info box. Theres already a few videos on youtube that shows u how to install it manually by others so check those out

  • @tal32123 newer drivers doesnt always means is better for your system actually, some of the newer ones are not stable so just keep that in mind. And if you manully install drivers u have to redo that everytime you update ur kernel
