  • @mxboardguitarsnake5 it really depends on the species and the locality, jungle, and Irian jaya carpet pythons stay around 5-7 feet, coastals around 8 or 9 and bredli's being the largest at around 9 feet. And even a 9 foot carpet isn't a man killer especially not a man eater.

  • @Reptiman1056 haha nah man my 5 year old carpet python is 7 feet now.... more like 12-14ft is their maximum length

  • I agree with puttbullbill, as a reptile breeder myself I'm constantly dealing with the bad rap these animals are getting. It's true there is a python problem in Florida. HOWEVER it is NOT because of the average Joe herp keeper releasing their pet snakes into the wild. Besides this while debate is irrelevant to this video because jungle carpet python max out at around 7 feet, no where near the alleged "man eaters". That's my personal opinion.

  • who really cares? It's a cool snake, lets leave it at that kiddys

  • @pittbullbill Information came from NPR Radio.....it said the rate that these big snakes were expanding in Florida was alarming and Florida allowed average folk to hunt them and kill them if they came across them........

  • @Jacobrester read a book and dont try to get your information from monster quest ok

  • @Jacobrester and i wonder how many were shot and killed by "hunters" im studing to be a herpatologist boy they died in the cold months.

  • @pittbullbill No they are having a real problem with these big snakes in Florida....they are getting out of control....as a matter of fact...it is Legal to shoot any of these big snakes and they strongly encourage it....people now hunt them....we dont want this big ass snakes spreading.......what a mess

  • @Jacobrester yea uh all those pesky bermese pythons and anacondas that were causing so much destruction in florida well the only ones found were dead they froze to death in the winter, yea these type of snakes cant tolerate fifty and sixty degree weather for weeks at a time
