You might want to turn the volume up a little.

A casual meeting twixt two colleagues - Dr. Kelley and Frank Pivens. It begins with a monologue from Dr. Kelley, then Frank speaks and a conversation follows. They discuss their respective motivations for doing what they do.

I've never done a video featuring two contract killers speaking directly to each other - unless you count Mr. Carmichael...but in case any of you who follow my videos hadn't picked it up yet, Mr. Carmichael is a "supervisor" in The Organization, and Dr. Kelley, Frank Pivens, and (formerly) John Ward are "employees" of The Organization...Mr. Carmichael is not the "head" of "The Organization".

Production notes:

The audio quality has improved because I used an external XLR microphone - the Rode NTG-2.

I used a different and vastly superior editing program compared to the one I used to use - this time I used Grass Valley's Edius 6 (before this, I used Cyberlink Powerdirector 8).

Using the external mic allowed me to place the camera farther away from me and then zoom in for a closeup on my face and then capture audio from directly above me.

I tried to experiment with some depth of field since I was able to still get great audio with the camera farther away and zooming in - since I could place the mic wherever I wanted - hence the background lighting.

Does anyone read this crap? - since I suspect not, I'll go ahead use some "dirty" language.........Does anyone even read this shit?

And if you're curious as to why this video is called "Old Testament" then watch it to the end - or I could just tell you...those are the last two words in the video.

  • @camdogie haha, I easily excuse cursing when it is done tastefully. Its when people turn the words into punctuations that I get perturbed

  • @Arthur40TwoDent well thanks...I'm working on my next script now...but knowing me, it'll probably be another month at least before the video is ready...but thanks for the support.

  • I really enjoyed the video. I hope you keep making them.

  • @camdogie the former. of course i liked it. it was good. but critical analysis sort of rolls with the genre. it seemed fitting, at least to me.
