These are spaced chords that slowly go into a 1-4-5 progression... if they ever do. Frank has a nice jazzy style of interpreting them. Advanced Carole King if you will. But, Frank is a brilliant musician and had a great gift of arrangement. Also a great gift of finding talent and working them in to his world. He is kind of a Miles Davis really, with as much under-current influence on punk culture.
