Republican Navy Vet wants answer from Senator Gordon Smith

Benton Country Republican picnic attendee James Douglas wants to ask Senator Gordon Smith why we can't just wait until General Pretoreous report comes out in September before pulling our troops from Iraq. Mr. Douglas is a Navy Vet who served just after WW2. He didn't get to ask his question as Senator Smith did not take any questions.
Well, Mr. Douglas, I think you asked a very legitimate question that many of your fellow Republicans will want to know as well. I'll post your question for you here in the hope that you'll get your answer. Don't hold your breath! Senator Smith won't answer ANY of my questions either, nor those from any of my many hundreds of pro-peace Vets. We've been trying to get an audience with him for over two years.
