•In shallow water
•Position your assistant so the AAS is on the student side
•Skill Signal
•Get attention to your assistant and signal him you are out of air
•Locate the Alternate Air Source, secure it and position it the correct way
•Remove your regulator and blow bubbles
•Put the AAS in your mouth and clear it
•Hold on your buddy with the right arm (Roman hand shake)
•Steps to prepare the ascent with signals then deflator hose in your hand (stationary)
•Cut the skill and remind the students about the 30 seconds
