  • What type of engine is going to be used ? That cab looks very small have you thought of adding a little space by stretching the rear cab area, Anyone weighing more than 150lbs wouldn't fit in it ?

  • @ruwithlee1970 SB350 and yes the cab is very small unless your in grade school LOL! Yes I almost did stretch the cab but I wanted to try to make it look as original as possible. The reason I flushed the doors is Im a Paint guy and I didnt my paint flying off because the door overlaps the cab. Terry

  • much cleaner look with the doors like that

  • Looking good.Hell it will never see rain so dont worry about the door wind and water tight. Doors open better as the rubber is about 5 months old. doors pop. Its screaming for a so cal gauge cluster and SW gauges and a moon tac.Make it new underneath and new under the hood and keep it Old school on the inside and the outside. That Truck is going to win everything at car shows so get ready. You will not be able to fill it up with gas. 5 people will run up to you and talk to you about that truck.

  • Nice... looking forward to seeing more.

  • That's some tedious work. Totally worth it though. The truck is starting to come together. It's sure fun to watch it materialize.

  • I've been following your build, and your pickup is looking great. I am doing a similar build, but making my cab from a sedan cowl, front doors from a Murray Fordor, and using the back of the Murray body to fashion the back of the cab. It will be about 4" longer than an original cab (I need the legroom). I've never done this before, but enjoying the times I get to work on it. I am with you on the flush-fit doors ... much better look.

  • looks good what u done to the doors, they look natural, cant imagine what they would look like overlapping, some awesome metal work there, thankx for sharing
