The media seems to blame the lion too much. It's really not a surprise if lions do that, they're wild animals. And they should be in their original habitats or at least have a friend

I dont think the poor lion was trying to attack the little girl. I dont know, I just think his gesture isnt an angry violent one. I think the lion just wants to play, of course if the glass wall wasnt there the little girl would have died, whether the lion wanted to play or kill her. But I'm also sure the lion is also lonely. I dont know much about this zoo but from this video, the only lion in the zoo is malik. And he's already 8yrs old, he must be lonely. Animals are supposed to be in the wild

Iions tend to live in a pride.

However a few lions do take to being alone.

Its true that he could be very lonely but maybe he isnt. If he is too aggresive it may be dangerous to put him in with other lions.

And they said he does have a bad attitude.

Didn't move a muscle? No, she jumped back. I think she was in shock as anyone would be if a HUGE lion tried to attack them.

Really, they ought to feed those lions before letting people come to visit. What if the lion broke the glass? Good thing the glass is strong.

Personally, I think lions should be running in the wild as they are supposed to. Probably frustrated.
