Keith Markey certainly wasn't playing it safe with these arrangements! Even the Academy buglers were at their technical limits throughout much of this Stockton program, but when they succeeded, the results were musically thrilling. The 1979 Guardsmen version of the "Fanfare for the New" pales in comparison to the original.
