Mel Brown 1939 - 2009

It's an emotionally charged evening as news breaks about the death of legendary bluesman Mel Brown at the concert he was originally scheduled to open. Among those paying tribute: singer Mavis Staples, Electrofi Records president Andrew Galloway, Homewreckers Scott Urquhart and Al Richardson, and award winning guitarist Shawn Kellerman with a heart-breaking rendition of Brown's song Love is Sweet.
