Fallout 3 - Gibson Reincarnated

Several weeks ago I found Gibson's house in the Minefield and started decorating it. There was a locked model house on a table by the door.

A few weeks ago I found L'Enfant and when I entered an Office there, I was attacked by a guy who ended up being Gibson. I was so happy to have found the key to that little model house that I made his dead body dance in the air to celebrate.

Just a few minutes ago, I stumbled back into that same L'Enfant Office and Gibson was alive. He attacked me again. I killed him again. And he had the same key and note on him as before. Now I had "Gibson's Key (2)" on my Keyring. :/

I checked the wikia and it says: "He is almost instantly killed by Radroaches when you first enter the building and it is possible to save him by running straight down and killing Radroaches attacking him."

There were no Radroaches in that Office. Just Gibson walking around near the desks on the first level - not downstairs. I also noticed that several of the Metal Boxes and Desks held items that I'm certain I picked up last time.

I saved my game to a new slot, reloaded a previous save and recorded a video of it because I thought no one would believe me

The Vault wiki says that he is supposed to be dead upon entering the office, yet when I entered he was fighting of Radroaches! O_o
