Havant - Old Tesco Store

This was the old Havant Tesco store which was built in 1996 before being redeveloped into the new Tesco Extra store that was built in 2009. The new Tesco Extra store has had a £20m transformation and now covers three floors at 71,000 sq ft and employs 480 people. The new store opened its doors to customers on the 30th November 2009. The old Tesco's store was built by Henry Jones (Kier Southern Limited), Havant. The Architect for the 1996 build was Michael Aukett Architects, London. The Developers for the new 2009 store were Taylor Woodrow and the Architect was Saunders Partnership Architects, Hertfordshire.
