I was invited to go fishing with Ron Wakita and Wes Owens for Dungeness Crab in the Kitimat ocean Douglas Channel November 27, 2009. This video shows how to catch Crab using the right tools such as Crab Traps distributed by Redl Sports http://www.redlsports.com Ace Line Hauler http://www.acelinehauler.com to effortlessly pull the traps, Danielson Bait cage (basket) and a Gibbs-Delta Tool Gauge http://gibbsfishing.com to measure the Crabs. The lead core rope used to pull the traps is made by Danielson. We placed four traps for only one set and were one Crab short of the daily limit of six each. WOW what a catch!

  • @flamebuddy PS im pretty sure they are using salmon heads

  • @flamebuddy Salmon and chicken work the best (both raw)

  • what do you use for bait?

  • Man i wish i could do something like this, it looks like a lot of fun, i wonder if i can join a fishing fleet in or near huntington beach CA. anyone know of anything?

  • Noel, That's a mighty fine line hauler. Up in the Puget Sound we use the old fashioned Norwegian Steam power. Some nice soakers you got there.

  • what kind of bait are you using sir ?

  • @davidmc107 not necesarilly you just need a good flat sandy bottom i prefer deeper like around 50 to 240 feet deep but any depth will do

  • Is it hard to find a good place to put your pots?

  • i want one of those thing, it would help SO much

  • @rubent100 there is no way you get 7$ per lb...the grocery store doesn't even sell them for that much..
