Comments on the line of succession in the Covenant of the Baha'i faith. The comments were made in a talk by former member of the Universal House of Justice Mr. Ali Nakhjavani. The talk was recorded in New Zealand 2006 and can be seen in full here: http://tinyurl.com/4apvde
Mr. Nakhjavani is very informed on this subject, and unfortunately suffered much in acquiring this familiarity.
The Kitab-i-Aqdas and the Kitab-i-Ahd clearly designate Abdu'l-Baha, in no uncertain terms, as head of the faith with total authority. The Master in His Will and Testament clearly designate Shoghi Effendi guardian, and outline the prerequisites for further guardians; male descendants of Baha'u'llah ratified by the Hands of the Cause and appointed by the previous guardian.
