For far too long priests and preachers have completely ignored the vicious criminal acts that the Bible promotes. The so called “God” of the Bible makes Osama Bin Laden look like a Boy Scout. This God, according to the Bible, is directly responsible for many mass-murders, rapes, pillage, plunder, slavery, child abuse and killing, not to mention the killing of unborn children

These are some the "gifts" religion spawns into humanity,? along with hell for the choice of a wrong belief system

@RachelEMacD You can have an omniscient god, or you can have free will. You can`t have them both. Once the outsome of our actions is known beforehand, we are just puppets. And if you can force another outcome as the one god has chosen, then your god is no longer OMNISCIENT

@lizazoon Ahh well.I think this is where we agree to disagree.To the one who doesn't want to believe in God, there is no evidence. To the one who does believe, evidence is everywhere you look.

The evidence, if you really want to find it, is in your heart. If you really want to know if God is, live for a certain time, maybe a year, as if you believe in God, pray and ask daily for God's guidance, give thanks for everything in your life, "as if" it comes from God, and you will find your answer.
