2003 Bridgestone Present The Champ Car World Series Powered by Ford VIDEO RACE RECAP -- April 13 2003 -- Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach -- Long Beach Street Circuit - Long Beach. California. This race was between Jourdain and Tracy. At the start Tracy passed Jourdain before the start/finish line. Still questionning why he did not got passthru penality. The local Jimmy Vasser did the show with a superb outside pass on Dominguez. This was an attrition race and most of the guy were saving fuel. This summary stands 03 minutes 45 seconds. I remember standing on my seat in turn 1 with my hands on my gigante hat on screaming form Jourdain's engine to start on that pit stop. What a race. Ill probably never see drivers drive cars that fast with such skill and make passes like that in the US ever again..
