actually, my dad has a pentium dual core laptop (ie Core Duo) and it dosent have EMT64 (its not 64bit) So, they did make 32 bit dual core processors.

@crikeyentertainment the Core Duo is a modifed version of the Pentium M (NOT Pentium 4) , of which the design for the Pentium M was made by Israeli chip designers working at Intel. The Core 2 Duo's Santa Rosa core was never based on the Yonah. So, the Core Duo is NOT based on the Intel Core micro-architecture.
Just FYI. And 64-Bit x86 was developed by AMD and what many people claim the 64-Bit Intel name is IA-64 which is false, IA-64 meant Itanium-64 for the Intel Itanium processors.

oh and my lappy's all run Leopard 10.5.8 except the 800 MHz G4 which runs Tiger 10.4.11

No fag but my iBook G4s ( one 800 MHz, one 1.25 GHz , one 1.33 GHz 12" and two iBook G4 1.42 GHz) boots up way faster than even your core duo Mac mini. Anyway , I am getting a used mini G4 tomorrow, for only 150, it's gonna be my bedroom HTPC!

@chootastic Wrong, Intel Core is 32-bit. Core 2 Duo is 64-bit. I own both, but with 32-bit operating systems. CPU-Z detects EMT64 on my Core 2 Laptop. It detects nothing of the sort on the Core Duo (Pentium DC)
