Here, Bob discusses the producer's role as a "facilitator" and helper to the artist, and how the accessibility of modern technology allows people of all walks of life to try a hand at making music.

great! Thanks for sharing this Bob seems real humble and honest and open. Cool kat. oh and this solidfies my choice (aside from my own artistic view) of sticking with Logic. I still even use 4.7x on my mac from 1997 and I do everything anyone else can with new stuff.. oh plus midi, some outboard gear and live instruments and good mics of course-ableton live and Reason are essential too..REX baby. I always wanted to work with this guy since the "Golden Era" of Hip Hop. A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, and The Roots used to go to this man for the finishing touches on their sound. But the beauty of technology is probably gonna keep Bob Power and I from crossing paths. Plus I'm on a budget. However, I got all of the software technology I need & I'm well on my way to greatness so I can't sweat it. Still, it would be nice to just work with Bob Power on something musically.
