Avatar made over a billion dollars it was meant to be a popcorn movie. Hurt locker was an art film with a message. They both were successful, it's stupid to compare those movies.

District 9 deserved Best Picture, not this over-bloated with propaganda Hurt Locker. D9 was a FAR better movie. The Oscars are a joke.

plus: dont tell me, that you were not extremely excited and interested in what was going on, when you saw the first pictures of us-troops on iraqui soil
