  • Music to the ears.

Any body can tell me which of the two models that HARD KROME offers for this motorcycle are these pipes.

  • This is my bike. They are the Hard Krome Strippers. I think the American Classic Straights only come back about half as far as the strippers. I love the sound, best sounding bike around imo. Only trouble is it can be a little too loud when warming up in the driveway in the early a.m.

  • I know what you mean man. I have a 2003 VN 800B with the 2.5 in. American Classic Straights on it. When you choke that thing to warm it up it gets like 3 times as loud. I know my neibors are cursing me when I have to go into work at 5 am from time to time...lol. I agree though, the VN 800 is one of the best sounding engines around once you through some Hard Kromes on them.

  • Yeah, we decided to keep the bike and I love it. Just a tad too loud at warm up. It's still been too cold for me to ride it yet this year though.

  • i saw the video and did a search on craigslist, found two, one in virginia where i am at and one in detroit where my brother lives. the one in detroit had the same pipes. very nice bike, i am interested but need to convince the wife!

  • Thanks! Actually I have a guy flying in from KC this week that is supposed to buy it and ride it home. I'll miss the bike for sure. One of the best looking bikes I've had.
