Authors@Google: Jon Snow

Jon Snow visits Google's London, UK office to discuss his book "Shooting History." This event took place on April 28, 2009, as part of the Authors@Google series.

Jon has spent most of the last 30 years as a foreign correspondent, working from South and Central America, Africa, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan and Washington, where he was ITNs top US correspondent for some years. He writes vividly and persuasively about the war on Iraq and US foreign policy, arguing that the northern hemisphere in general -and the US in particular- need to take more account of the plight of the poor to the south of us. He is also the face of Channel 4 News.
