@broadwaymike92 it would just be common sense to turn your phone off while watching a performance - especially live theatre. Its just bad manners and egotistical ignorance.

Every show on Broadway should now have a safety cell phone / flash photography drill. Any point in whatever show someones phone goes off or takes an illegal photo, every actor should not break character and improvise something to make sure the audience remembers to shut their phones and not take photos.
