Wow, you just bybassed the entire point. I own just about every fighting game you can think of INCLUDING some imports. Anything from the first Street Fighter (yes, the first one) to Tatsunoko vs. Capcom and I still play and like Mugen. Mugen is created for the sole purpose of seeing and doing things that you will NEVER see in a real fighting game. Its for fun and for hobby plus you get to customize it the way YOU want it including characters, stages, AND music. Its hobby, not because I'm cheap.

Violent Ken (aka Brainwashed Ken) is from SNK vs Capcom/Capcom vs SNK. It's a theoretical Ken if Orochi (from SNK) were to possess his body and make him evil, I guess to give Evil Ryu someone to fight on equal terms or something. My guess is that someone took Violent Ken's body, pasted Ryu's head on it, changed up the colors, and called him Violent Ryu. Sensei Ken's stance looks familiar, but not sure where he's from.
