Smith College Squash Coach & Sport Scientist Tim Bacon explains a Progressive Approach to Teaching Racquet Sports to Large Groups of Beginners. In Part 2, Tim explains the progression in terms of distance and swing length, and makes a simple recommendation that coaches start with a racquetball racquet no matter which of the racquet sports they teach.

Tim is a certified tennis, squash & racquetbal coach and a world-ranked Racketlon player (ping pong, badminton, squash, tennis) who has taught all of the major racquet sports for 32 years. He has authored coaching certification materials for Tennis, Squash & Racquetbal Canada. In Part I Tim explains the rationale behind the need for a progressive (versus traditional) approach to teaching large groups of beginners. For more info: www.scienceofcoachingsquash.wordpress.com
