GTA4 8600gt 256 mb ddr3 1280*1024 textures medium nice fps!

I just want to show how my 8600gt preforms on this incredible game. so this are the results.
During day: 19-29 fps
During night the average is:22-34 fps
The grapical specs are:
resolution:1280*1024
Textures:medium
Render: highest
View distance: 6
Detail distance: 16
Vehicle density: 30
Shadow density: 7
I'm using the nonrestriction trick to make such graphical options available.
My system specs:
e6300 stock
xfx 8600gt (730/1650/1800)
2gb ram
750gb hd

i'm recording with fraps so it's normal some aditional lag. i don't know why but it just doesn't record sound. sorry!

Would you rather;

Have a smooth 60fps gameplay with low graphics?

-OR-

Have a choppy 24fps gameplay with super high graphics?

lol. for starting. i have not 24fps. i have nearby 30 while playing. those results are wrong. i was using fraps. and frames get lower. so. i have a very nice frame rate to play smooth. 60 fps are playable. but playing with low graphics or medium is the same in my computer. why? i don't know. the only thing that realy takes my fps down is view and detail distance.

using Riva Tunner. you can download it easily. i've already tried with the memory on 1900 and there where only artifacts in l4d. i don't know why. but in gta4, crysis, and all those eavy graphic games the artifacts just doesn't came up.

you should change your resolution and change the textures to high it will run and look much better

sorry, i don't like small resolutions because it is much worse when i use small resolutions, all those pixels. i hate it

Meduim settings with 256MB? You need atleast 320MB for it.

I play everything at 1600x1200, well at least 1280x1024.
