High Peak Marathon

A 42 mile race through bogs, around the Derwent Watershed, starting at night of Friday and finishing midday on Saturday. This year it got down to -10 degC and the ground was covered in snow, which made an amazing sunrise.
Location: Edale area (Peak District)

I haven't had the 'pleasure' of competing but organising the event was an awesome challenge.
Maybe next year I'll walk it.
