Stinking jug-eared murderer opened our borders up to mass uncontrolled immigration. Sure Major did not have the charisma to be a great PM but his economic principles were more sound than that of the reckless, incompetent moron Brown.

@1878EFC2008 Nothing wrong with it - unless of course you wish to see your community grow, refuse to integrate whilst actively attempting to change the political, and social climate of the country you migrated to.

Weak Weak Weak. Britain after Blair had left.......SHIT SHIT SHIT.

@boffinme80 I agree with you to a point apart from the small matter of Maastricht..He committed an act of high treason against Britain when he signed that treaty. So many of our problems come from Europe and Major signed ALOT of our power and sovereignty away to our enemies across the channel.

@kevinto1972 I'd still take Major over Blair anyday. At least he was honest and worked hard.

@12SeanH Major may not have been one of the most powerful leaders but I really liked him and so did many other people because he was honest and hard-working and was actually doing his best to sort things out. He stood as a person who was anything but cynical and stood up for the country's welfare. People like Thatcher and Blair only care for their own needs. I've seen a few hateful comments about Major and I really don't know why. He always seemed alright to me

0:08 check out that wink from Edwina Currie, with whom Major had an affair. It's like she's saying: "Good work, big boy."
@silversynth I know it absolutely amazes me to listen to people moaning about how much the Conservatives are responsible for every single one of our problems.
No one could have stopped the World recession, but Gordon Brown and his government WERE responsible for our domestic economic problems. Brown left us with the worst level of national debt since the First World War.
Michael Heseltine was right, every Labour Government leaves us with a crisis. And we are recovering much slower too.

@Kozzy06
What's wrong with being an immigrant or a minority? Strange post, mate, very strange indeed.
