Ok Sugar Land, I love love love this song. How can I get this exact copy for my iPhone and I will even purchase it. Jennifer and Christian, you two can do some amazing harmonize like I have never heard you do in this awesome song.... :-)

@justcorylee <-- point taken but, so? yes Tom wrote the song, sang it and made it what it is, but it is a POEM! that means anyone can sing it, "recite" it if you will, in their own voice, convictions and feel. this is a great song, a classic in RR, one that is embedded in our American culture as mom and apple pie no matter WHO SINGS IT. and far as I am concerned, she does a great job of singing it in ways I can only characterize as soothing, fun and BEAUTIFUL. Swift's version is great too!

to sharahon06. Tom Petty is not the greatest singer in the world I agree, but he wrote the song and the song has a certain feel that is totaly lost in this version. She sings well but I don't know what it is with the new country artist thinking they have to sound like gomer pile when they sing just because they're singing country.

That was pretty bad. Rock on Mike and Tom. Sugarland will be lucky to play free admission state fair gigs in 5 years. TPTH have been doing it to sold out shows for 33 years. He did it the right way. Guitars, amps, keyboards and drums live on the road. He plays to as many 18 years old's as 50 year old fans all these years later. Some people get great talent and some don't.
