Pastor Doug always hits it right on the head. And you people who dont get it, most of you are just choosing not to so you dont have to be accountable. 2300 day prophecy, the sabbath, state of dead, all these are sound bible doctrines. Whats with all these sucker punchers? From the looks of it judgment day is going to be filled with lost christians......God have mercy.......

Read the book "1844 Made Simple". It deals in fairly plain language almost all the objections people have against the 1844 investigative judgment doctrine in a logical and biblical manner. A good reminder of the pattern of the OT sanctuary service is necessary too since it all points to the ministry/work of Jesus Christ.

@EricKia1000 You'll need to see part 3 of this video just prior to watching this to know that when he says 483 years he was speaking of the total time spoken in daniel of 69 weeks. He wasn't giving the total from 62 years. Listen to him closely again and watch the prior video. All about context right?

The Bible texts given in the video presentation makes the key points in this presentation very well.

It is particularly noteworthy that at the start Pastor Batchelor spends a lot of time debunking the popular idea of wildly inserting a gap of undefined time into the 70 week timeline of Dan 9.

Dan 9 starts with the 70 year timeline of Jeremiah. No "inserting undefined gaps of time" into Jeremiahs 70 years or Daniel's 70 weeks.

Darwing got the credit may be because he was a scientist but the whole idea of evolution was first published in 1844 by Robert Chambers in an anonymous book called "Vestiges of the Natural History of Creation"

Lamarck wrote before that year but his idea is not evolution really, it's about espontaneous generation and was completely discredited by 1844.

So, I think that one can say that this theory that drove so many to atheism was made public in 1844.

According to the wikipedia Marx published "The communist Manifesto" in 1948, but in 1944 something perhaps more important occured with him: He met Engels in Paris. Why is that so important? Because he wasn't a communist until then. It was Engels and his then unpublished book "Condition of the Working Class in England in 1844" that convinced him to abandom the Hegelians.
