This video is entitled "The Bellydance". Was recorded live at Tom Lee Music Festival in Hong Kong on 18th March 2007.

"THE BELLY DANCE"
Pattern Breakdown:
Right Hand: A simple 2/4 pattern between the floor tom and the right timbale snare.
Left Foot: 1/8 Notes between the left hi-hat and the left foot cowbell.
Right Foot: A simple 4/4 Iraqi pattern played on the bass drum.
Left Hand: Melodic improvisations around the drumkit.

  • i love the innovation with these drums. As a bellydancer I would have to say your base rythm ("ayoub") would need more changes to make it good music for actual bellydance (a good one anyway). Great for dance trance though. I have never heard trap drums played like this... nice!
