Social networking site Bebo is facing closure after parent company AOL has decided that it is no longer worth fighting bigger players such as Facebook.
AOL bought the company two years ago for 850 million dollars but if it can't find a buyer by the end of next month the website will simply be closed down.
Although popular in the UK the site failed to catch on in the US.
The website was originally set up by British entrepreneurs Michael and Xochi Birch who netted millions from its sale.
At the time it was bought Bebo had 40 million users, that's now dropped to just 12 million people who use the site today.
