  • @Sinx21 no, the windshield stops all the plastic from the front of the car from coming inside. And the plastic on the dashboard stays on the dashboard. They just open up like doors to let the airbag through

  • @Sinx21 theyre designed to not fall off, they just split.

  • @lukedavidrocks do you have any idea what "kool" means in estonian?

  • @Sinx21 i think it inflates too fast to punch your face

  • @Sinx21 They actually open up and the plastic peels 4 ways to allow the airbag to come out. i know this cause me and my friend were in an accident last friday.

  • @Sinx21 I believe, at least in certain cases, the plastic opens up like two doors, allowing the airbag to pop out and inflate. So the plastic either remains attached to the steering wheel or is thrown off to the sides.

This is just from watching certain airbag deployment videos.

  • @OldTimeyJunk Not necessarily; most of the older airbags are, but newer airbags are usually smaller. But this size would still be considered in the normal range for a newer airbag

  • @whattheheck1000 most airbags are this size

  • @opalescence325 LOL!!!!
