  • Here in Dallas. Honda dealer wanted 89.00 to replace the filter. I told them not to replace it. The same goes for transmission fluid. 38 dollars for new wiper refills. 2008 honda odyssey.

Thanks for the video. very informative. You'r saved me a bunch of money on my car.

  • oN THE 1999 Honda CRV I left the 6 bolts and a Bar out and installed the dash bar with just two bolts . The car is drivin fine without any noise . So next time it will be a simple replacement Thanks

  • @cidpusa700 LOL! Sometimes they do this on purpose to get you to pay and discourage the client from doing it themselves, sneeky dealer tactics.

  • @Imachowderhead $30 was for the service only though. filters sold seperately.

  • @xNightLifeDJsx 30 is cheap, our dealer in va charges 75 bux!

  • I have a Honda CRV 1998 changed the filter but you have to remove 8 bolts a pain in the neck they are in very tight places. It took an hour and the bolts fall in the dash well and no way to get them out they are history , Some psycho engineer designed this . Honda needs some smart filter change engineer LOL

  • This is why you should stay in school kids.

  • Here in BC, Canada they want $50 for both filters.. I just paid and took the filters home to do the change myself. :)

  • great video. well explain. thanks

  • Honda dealer was charging me $30 for installation here in California. I decided to do it myself and declined their offer, came across this video did it myself and saved me the money. It is a bit different on the 2007 Honda Element because there are 2 small filters to replace instead of one, it can get very tricky to take out the parts and put them back but i was able to figure it out by using some good common sense lol. Thank you for making this video and saving us money.
