Clipped from the Academy of Health Sciences 1983 training video, Treatment of Heat Injuries, this clip demonstrates the procedures from 1983 for identifying and treating the three heat injuries -- cramps, exhaustion and stroke. Heat-induced occupational illnesses can occur with excessive exposure to a hot work environment. Heat-induced disorders include transient heat fatigue, heat rash, fainting, heat cramps, heat exhaustion, and heat stroke.
