sorry love. i'm swedish. i know how it is to be raised in a functional society that combines a nurturing welfare state with freedom and enterprise. and keynesian economics is a gentle middle way that works for the common good unlike americas predator capitalism. about taxes we should ask WHAT they get spent on, how transparent the process is and how much control we have over how our money is used.

this claim is debatable, at best. we have STILL not paid the bill for the new deal. And it is often argued that the new deal, as an experiment, was insufficient to prove OR disprove keynesianism, anyway. you can add japan's recession to the list of economic "experiments" with ambiguous results.

I don't care for them...but I do think we should all give a fuck about them because they have managed to shape and direct a great deal of US foreign and domestic policies since Ronald Reagan....many with disastrous effects.

At least we should give enough of a fuck to keep them out of power and marginalize them.
