Demo of Gibson 57 Classic + DiMarzio 36th Anniversary PAF in an Epiphone Les Paul Standard

I just thought i would make a little demo of the 2 new pickups i put in my epiphone les paul. The 57 classic really for me gives a great smooth buttery velvety type of neck, reminds me of gary moore a little. While the dimarzio really does its job and sounds the opposite to the kneck, its very VERY bright, and wants to clip a little when clean but tbh i bought it for the overdriven tones and it gives the great gritty overdriven sound i was looking for, really perfect bitey lead tones and when both pickups are together they give an amazing clean tone, really big surprise how 2 very contrasting pickups could mold so well together to give this fanastic clear and rich clean tone.

What amp do you have? What settings did you use for this video? At 5:05 it sounds awesome!

@pmgferrari96 its a peavey stereo chorus 400. 1980's. Its just the clean channel of the amp through the daphon OD and belcat delay using the 57 classic. Selling the amp if your interested btw :)

mmm Excuse me, but... you really can't compare a bridge pup with a neck pup... even if the same model, you'll get a different sound. But... I got the DiMarzios 36th anniversary set and is astonishing :D I wish I could afford a 57 Classic / 57 Classic plus set but.. .no chance xD Thanks for the vid though :D now I know the sound of the 57 on the neck :D

happy with the dimarzio ? i have the same guitar and i want to change the pickups too...and i am between the dimarzios 36 and seymour duncan 59.i am thinking of combining them...the dimarzio in the bridge and the 59 in the nech.what do you think ?

I also use the Di Marzio pups!

Worth the money and more! A lot of winders out there but the pro winders like Di Marzio really nailed it! Outstanding Paf clones!
